An Accomplished Real Estate and Capital Formation Executive Joins PRP to Lead Fundraising Efforts, Investor Relations and Marketing
WASHINGTON — August 17, 2026 — PRP, a real estate investment management firm headquartered in Washington, DC, announced today that it has hired Liat Cherkes-Bishko as Managing Director, Head of Capital Formation. In this newly expanded role, Ms. Cherkes-Bishko will lead the firm’s capital formation efforts, including fundraising, investor relations, and marketing, as PRP Real Assets continues to broaden its institutional investor base across its Mission-Critical Assets, Multifamily, and Special Situations strategies.

Ms. Cherkes-Bishko is based in the Washington, DC area. She brings more than 20 years of experience spanning real estate law, distressed real estate investing, asset management, and capital formation. Prior to joining PRP, she spent over a decade at Turner Impact Capital, where she began as an investment professional before moving into senior capital formation and investor relations responsibilities across the firm’s strategies. During her tenure, Turner Impact Capital grew to approximately $2.2 billion in committed capital. In her role, she developed and managed relationships with pension funds, insurance companies, banks, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other investors. Earlier in her career, Ms. Cherkes-Bishko was a partner at a real estate investment firm focused on distressed and undervalued real estate opportunities and was an Assistant Vice President in the real estate group at Avenue Capital Group in New York, where she managed the firm’s portfolio of residential and resort assets. She began her career as a real estate litigation associate at Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. Ms. Cherkes-Bishko earned her JD, cum laude, from New York Law School, where she was a member of the Law Review, and her BA from The Johns Hopkins University.
